Fonts and Images

For this assignment, I was asked to take an image from Photo-Shop and change it to make it my own. Similar to the icon assignment, I was then asked to insert text that would flow with the image I had just changed. I chose to do a music note and warp the note and make it more extreme and exaggerated. I chose to use MARYS MUSIC in all caps going vertically down the right side of the music note. I also wanted to use a sans serif font instead of a serif font to make it appear smooth and match the notes overall texture."Sometimes, as when constructing a log, letter-forms themselves need to be moved and altered to achieve ideal visual relations." (P 264) To make the words flow around the note effortlessly, I used puppet warp to move some of the letters around to form right around the note.
